EVELYN MANDA NYS (nee GREIG) January 29,1923 - January 13, 2004 Peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the age of 80 years old, Evelyn passed away at the Bethania Personal Care Home. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 58 years Albert (Bert) and daughters, Florence, Diane (George) also five grandchildren, Michelle (Brad), Tricia (Liam), Shauna (Warren), Jason and Kari; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Noah and Finola. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Eva and George Greig; her son Albert (Butch) sisters, Florence, Helen and Dorothy. She is survived by her sisters, Georgina (Kurt) Strassel, Joyce (Bob) Sylvester, Gladys (Gabe) Heyser; brother George (Audrey) Greig. Evelyn served in the Air Force and was a lifetime member of the Norwood St. Boniface Legion. She was secretary for the Legion for 20 years. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 19 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St. Interment in St. Boniface Cemetery at a later date. P. COUTU & CO.
